our story
Laugh N’ Discover was born out of a need to provide a preschool program where children learn to treasure the richness of their own cultural heritage and those of their friends. Our home-like environment provides a cozy space where children can grow and learn on their journey towards kindergarten. We believe it is important to educate, engage and empower the children, parents, and the community. At Laugh N’ Discover Early Learning Center, we instill self- love, cultural pride and a love of learning in our children. We offer a high-quality preschool program for children 6 weeks – 12 years old. Our play-based curriculum teaches advanced literacy, math and writing using music, art, and games. Why settle for daycare when your child could attend preschool for a fraction of the cost?

Lakeshia Dorsey, M.S. Ed.
With over a decade of experience as an early childhood educator, I am adept in identifying and implementing high quality instruction for young children. As an early childhood educator, I have served as a pre-kindergarten and kindergarten teacher, preschool owner, child development professor and early childhood trainer. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, I also have a solid educational foundation and a passion for teaching our youngest learners and supporting early childhood professionals.
